Post Seeking Information on Semington and Lacock Line

Peter Williams from Pewsham has been a member of the Wilts & Berks Canal Trust for 20 years but his latest project is researching a book on the history of the line between Semington and Lacock.

He has already unearthed documents and maps that have been hidden for decades, and is now appealing for people to come forward with information that could help shed light on the canal and the part it played in the community.

As per the my opinion it's very had to collect information . I have read else where about like wise same Current service is 5 trains per day between Swindon and Westbury, with some service extended to or from Southampton. Weekend service 4 trains on Saturday and 3 on Sunday. This is current information hope this helps you .
