The Association of Inland Navigation Authorities- Representing owners and operators of the UK's inland waterways.

Association of Waterways Cruising Clubs- Their website.

Barge Association- For all those interested in ex-commercial barges or any other type of broad-beam inland waterways craft

Boaters Christian Fellowship- The Boaters Christian Fellowship, better known as the BCF, is a group of members who support our aims and who love the inland waterways.

The British Marine Federation- The Trade Association for the UK Marine Leisure Industry

British Waterays- The company who runs 2000 miles of the waterways in Britain.

Commercial Boat Operators Association- The CBOA is the prime organisation involved in the effort to sustain and increase freight carriage on our waterways, not for nostalgia or heritage reasons but for ecological and financial sense.

Electric Boat Association- The Electric Boat Association (EBA) serves the needs of all who have an interest in electric boating, whether boat owners or business members.

Inland Waterways Association- The Inland Waterways Association campaigns for all of us through lobbying Government, Local Council and the Navigation Authorities, consultation, giving advice, organising and providing manpower for projects, fund raising and giving financial aid.

National Association of Boat Owners- For the views and expertise of British river and canal boat owners, N.A.B.O. is becoming the most favoured source of reference.

Railway & Canal Historical Society- Founded in 1954 to bring together all those interested in the history of transport, with particular reference to railways and waterways, its main objects are to promote historical research and to raise the standard of published history.

Residential Boat Owners' Association- Established in 1963 the Residential Boat Owners' Association exists to act in and to further the interests of boat dwellers on the coasts, rivers and canals of Britain.

Steam Boat Association- A site which aims to foster and encourage steam boating and the building, development, preservation and restoration of steam boats and steam machinery.

Towpath Action Group- The site for the Towpath Action Group: Past, Present and Future

Waterways Recovery Group- The Waterway Recovery Group is a voluntary organisation, helping to restore derelict canals in Britain.

Wild Over Waterways- The WOW website is an educational resource for teachers and children. It encourages an appreciation of waterways as a dynamic and integral part of our country's heritage and infrastructure.
