Manypeople wonder why lots & lots of people are so attracted to the Inland Waterways of Britain and why so many bother spending the time to cruise the Canals all over the country!

Well to put it into a very brief description the waterways are really quite addictive- once you've experienced it, you will want to experience it again and again!

There is just something in the way that life on the cut (canal) slows right down (to the max of 4mph in most cases when cruising) - the "skipper" sitting or standing at the back of the boat moving the tiller navigating the boat around the winds and twists that you find in many canals.

The scenery when cruising the rural canals is lovely and you will generally always see lots of wild life, be it Swans, Geese, Water rats, Ducks you will normally see it somewhere sometime when cruising!
